Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is searching for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team on a fully remote basis. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for new products and systems using advanced CAD software .
• Perform comprehensive finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate designs under various load conditions.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, and project management teams to ensure successful product realization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during prototype testing and production phases.
• Stay abreast of new design techniques, materials, and technologies in the field of mechanical engineering .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of materials selection, manufacturing processes, and design for assembly (DFA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
