Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of intricate mechanical components and assemblies.
• Utilize advanced 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and perform sophisticated engineering analyses, including FEA and CFD.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
• Oversee prototype testing, validation, and the implementation of design changes to optimize performance and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in advanced CAD/CAE tools and a strong understanding of simulation techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of materials science, stress analysis, and various manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to innovate under demanding technical constraints.
• Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
