Senior Mechanical Engineer - Manufacturing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing machinery and tooling solutions using CAD software .
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of new production equipment.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on the production floor, providing rapid and effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production teams, quality control, and R&D to ensure seamless integration of new processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant focus on manufacturing environments .
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and knowledge of machine design principles.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly automation).
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
