Senior Mechanical Engineer - Product Development & Innovation

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new products from concept to mass production.
• Conduct detailed design analysis , including stress, thermal, and dynamic simulations, to ensure product performance and reliability.
• Oversee prototyping and testing activities, iterating on designs based on feedback and experimental results.
• Collaborate closely with industrial designers, electronics engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure cohesive product development.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including CAD models, technical drawings, and BOMs.
• Investigate and implement new technologies and materials to enhance product features and competitiveness for the Brighton market.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in product development and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks) and familiarity with FEA tools.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, machining).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach to design challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for cross-functional collaboration.
