Senior Mechanical Engineer - Product Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems, from initial concept to production release.
• Perform advanced structural analysis , thermal management, and vibration testing using sophisticated simulation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers, in a virtual environment.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction, and foster a culture of innovation and high-quality engineering.
• Develop and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and validation plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance product performance and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical product development and design.
• Expertise in CAD/CAE software (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS, COMSOL) and robust analytical skills.
• Proven experience managing complex engineering projects and leading technical teams remotely.
• Deep understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across time zones.
