Key Responsibilities

• Lead the research and development of new mechanical concepts, designs, and technologies.
• Conduct in-depth theoretical analyses, simulations, and experimental testing to validate new engineering solutions.
• Manage the entire R&D project lifecycle, from ideation and feasibility studies to prototype development and testing, in a remote context.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of mechanical engineers.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes for potential integration.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovation and achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a strong R&D background.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering R&D, with a proven track record of leading technical initiatives.
• Expertise in advanced CAD/CAE software , simulation tools, and experimental design methodologies.
• Strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and mechanical system design principles.
• Excellent remote communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve complex engineering challenges.
