Senior Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This critical role involves engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the United Kingdom to discuss complex scientific and clinical data related to innovative oncology therapies. You will be the scientific and medical interface between our client's research and development teams and the external medical community, ensuring the accurate and appropriate dissemination of cutting-edge information. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading oncologists, researchers, and other healthcare professionals, serving as a primary scientific contact.
• Present complex clinical trial data, disease state information, and product-related scientific insights in an objective and engaging manner.
• Gather valuable insights from KOLs regarding treatment landscapes, unmet medical needs, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify and facilitate potential research collaborations and investigator-initiated studies.
• Represent the company at key medical conferences, symposia, and advisory boards, ensuring professional and scientific engagement.
• Collaborate internally with clinical development, regulatory affairs, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of medical strategies.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison, with a strong focus on Oncology .
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss complex scientific and clinical data with subject matter experts.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate scientific concepts clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory effectively, including travel as needed for virtual and occasional in-person interactions.
