Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed mining plans , including extraction methods, production schedules, and resource allocation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses for new and ongoing mining projects.
• Supervise on-site operations, ensuring adherence to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of mining equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the mining industry, with a proven track record in operational management.

• Demonstrated experience with health and safety regulations relevant to mining operations in the UK.
