Senior Mobile Developer (iOS/Android)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with expertise in both iOS and Android development to join their innovative product team in Oxford . You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, performant mobile applications that reach a global audience. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile ecosystems, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and backend engineers. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's mobile strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy native iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Swift/Objective-C for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android.
• Optimize mobile applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Work closely with backend teams to integrate mobile applications with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C for iOS development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.
• Experience with mobile development frameworks and tools (e.g., Xcode, Android Studio).
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, performance optimization, and app store guidelines.
