About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned and client-focused Senior Mortgage Advisor to join their esteemed team in Sunderland . This role is crucial in guiding clients through the complex mortgage application process, offering expert advice and tailored solutions. You will manage a portfolio of clients, build strong relationships, and ensure a seamless experience from initial consultation to mortgage completion. Working within a hybrid model , you will leverage your expertise to meet client needs while collaborating with colleagues both in the office and remotely, contributing to the continued success of their financial services operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and guidance on mortgage products and financial planning.
• Assess client financial situations and recommend suitable mortgage solutions.
• Manage the entire mortgage application process, liaising with lenders and third parties.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and service level agreements.
• Stay updated on market trends, lender policies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor , ideally with senior-level responsibilities.
• Possession of relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CeMAP).
• Strong understanding of the mortgage market and lending criteria.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a client pipeline and work towards sales targets .
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment , blending office and remote duties.
