Senior Network Engineer - Telecoms

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage advanced IP networks , including routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and new service implementations.
• Ensure the security of the network by implementing and managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering , with a strong focus on telecoms environments.
• Proven expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting of Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP , routing protocols, MPLS, and various VPN technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
