Senior Network Engineer - Telecoms

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable telecom network infrastructure , including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against threats.
• Monitor network performance using various tools, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and new technology deployments.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures meticulously.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer , with a focus on telecommunications environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and network security best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
