Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable telecommunications networks , including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal service delivery.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define network requirements and integrate new technologies and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance our network capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in network engineering within the telecoms industry.
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and firewall management .
• Proven experience with network monitoring tools and network automation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting .
• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
