Senior Nursery Nurse

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Nursery Nurse to take on a leadership role within their reputable childcare centre in Belfast . In this position, you will provide guidance and support to the nursery team, contributing to the delivery of exceptional early years education and care. You will be instrumental in creating an inspiring and safe learning environment for young children, fostering their development and well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior nursery staff, providing guidance on best practices.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of a stimulating and creative curriculum.
• Ensure all children receive high-quality care and support tailored to their individual needs.
• Assist the Nursery Manager in operational duties and maintaining high standards across the setting.
• Uphold and promote the nursery's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
• Facilitate positive relationships with children, parents, and carers in Belfast .

Requirements

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Significant experience working in an early years setting, with demonstrable progression.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS and relevant safeguarding legislation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for early years education and child development in Northern Ireland .
