Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for offshore wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Analyse turbine performance data and diagnostic reports to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance actions.
• Develop and review technical procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance strategies for offshore wind turbines.
• Conduct remote inspections and assessments, guiding onsite technicians through complex repair or maintenance tasks.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for field teams, escalating issues as necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
• Contribute to training and mentoring of junior technicians, sharing expertise and best practices.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Wind Turbine Technology).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working as an offshore wind turbine technician.
• Strong understanding of wind turbine operation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis across major brands.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues remotely.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively guide and instruct field personnel.
