About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Consultant to join their established practice located in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is critical in helping clients optimize their operational efficiency, supply chain management, and manufacturing processes. You will lead engagements, analyze complex operational challenges, and design practical, data-driven solutions that deliver significant improvements in productivity and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational assessments and diagnose performance issues across various business functions.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving supply chain logistics, inventory management, and production efficiency.
- Design and execute process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Manage client relationships and project teams, ensuring successful delivery of operational transformation projects.
- Utilize data analytics to identify bottlenecks, performance gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop comprehensive reports and present findings and recommendations to client leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management, supply chain, or operational consulting.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing operational improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in process mapping and data analysis tools.
- Excellent project management capabilities and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
