About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Penetration Tester to join their expanding cybersecurity team in Bradford . This role involves simulating real-world cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities in our client's systems, applications, and networks. You will be responsible for conducting thorough security assessments, providing detailed reports, and collaborating with development and IT teams to remediate findings. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically proficient individual to play a critical role in strengthening our client's defenses against sophisticated threats, working within a collaborative and innovative security department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute penetration tests on web applications, networks, and mobile systems.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities, documenting findings with clear technical details and business impact.
- Develop comprehensive reports for both technical and non-technical audiences, including remediation recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest penetration testing techniques, tools, and threat landscapes.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure identified vulnerabilities are addressed effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience performing penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Proficiency with industry-standard penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
- Strong understanding of web application security, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are highly valued.
