Senior Penetration Tester

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Penetration Tester to join their expanding cybersecurity team, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments of our client's web applications, networks, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation advice. This role demands a deep understanding of offensive security techniques and the ability to think like an attacker to uncover potential weaknesses before malicious actors can exploit them. You will play a critical role in enhancing the security posture of our diverse client base, contributing to a secure digital future.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing across a variety of environments, including web applications, APIs, mobile applications, and network infrastructure.
• Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of identified vulnerabilities and provide clear, actionable remediation recommendations.
• Develop custom scripts and tools to automate security testing and enhance efficiency.
• Prepare detailed, professional reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommended mitigation strategies.
• Stay current with the latest penetration testing techniques, tools, and emerging threats.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or in a similar offensive security role.
• Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and exploitation techniques.
• Proficiency with various penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are highly desirable.
