Key Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct complex chemical synthesis and analysis for new drug candidates.
• Develop and optimize pharmaceutical formulations, ensuring stability and bioavailability.
• Oversee and mentor junior chemists, providing technical guidance and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biologists, pharmacologists, and regulatory affairs specialists.
• Prepare detailed scientific reports, documentation, and presentations for internal review and external publications.
• Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development, with a proven track record in drug discovery.
• Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, NMR), and formulation science.
• Demonstrated experience in leading scientific projects and managing small teams.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
