Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Data Analyst to join their remote-based team. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making across various pharmaceutical functions, including R&D, clinical trials, manufacturing, and market access. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with stakeholders across different departments and time zones, utilizing advanced analytical tools and methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, aggregate, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources, including clinical trials, sales, manufacturing, and R&D.
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, predict outcomes, and optimize processes.
- Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track progress towards business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
Requirements
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
