About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their dedicated team in Cardiff . Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using various techniques, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution testing.
• Analyze and interpret test results, documenting findings accurately in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
• Investigate and troubleshoot out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations.
• Contribute to the development and validation of new analytical methods.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory setting.
• Strong proficiency with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC and GC.
• Knowledge of pharmacopoeial methods (e.g., USP, EP) and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
