About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex research projects from conception to completion in drug discovery and development.
• Design and conduct experiments, including synthesis, purification, and characterization of new chemical entities.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and present findings to project teams and senior management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including chemists, biologists, and formulation scientists, to advance drug candidates.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, technological advancements, and regulatory guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Contribute to the preparation of research reports, patents, and regulatory submissions.

Requirements

• PhD in Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
• Proven expertise in drug discovery methodologies, synthetic organic chemistry, and analytical techniques.
• Experience with various spectroscopic and chromatographic methods (e.g., NMR, LC-MS, HPLC).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles.
• Proficiency in relevant scientific software and databases.
