Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and optimization of experimental procedures for drug discovery and development, focusing on novel therapeutic targets.
• Analyze and interpret complex experimental data, generating comprehensive reports and presenting findings to cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Contribute to the development and validation of new analytical methods and assays to support preclinical and clinical studies.
• Mentor junior scientists, providing guidance on experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis techniques.
• Collaborate with medicinal chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists to advance drug candidates through the development pipeline.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines, safety protocols, and good laboratory practices (GLP) throughout all research activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline, with a strong academic record.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in drug discovery and development.
• Expertise in in vitro and in vivo pharmacology, assay development, and data interpretation.
• Demonstrated experience with various analytical techniques relevant to pharmaceutical research.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting.
• Familiarity with regulatory submission processes and relevant guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA).
