Senior Pharmacologist

About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Pharmacologist to join their innovative drug discovery team, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will contribute to the identification and validation of novel drug targets, design and conduct in vitro and in vivo studies, and interpret complex experimental data. This role is ideal for a seasoned scientist passionate about advancing therapeutic development and working collaboratively in a virtual environment. You will play a critical role in shaping the preclinical pipeline, driving scientific excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies to assess drug efficacy and safety.
• Identify and validate potential drug targets and mechanisms of action.
• Develop and optimize assays relevant to disease models and drug discovery.
• Analyze and present experimental data to internal teams and scientific committees.
• Contribute to the scientific strategy and project planning for drug discovery programs.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in drug discovery.
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant pharmacology techniques and disease models.
• Strong understanding of drug development processes and regulatory considerations.
• Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and scientific writing skills.
