Senior Podiatrist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly competent and compassionate Senior Podiatrist to join their dedicated healthcare team in Oxford . This role requires a professional with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. You will provide high-quality patient care, manage complex cases, and contribute to the development and delivery of podiatry services within the practice. As a senior member, you will also play a role in mentoring junior podiatrists and contributing to the overall excellence of the clinic in a historic and vibrant city known for its academic and medical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of foot and lower limb pathologies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse conditions.
• Perform specialized procedures, including nail surgery, verrucae treatment, and biomechanical assessments.
• Provide advice on preventative foot care and management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior podiatrists and support staff, contributing to their professional development.

Requirements

• Degree in Podiatry and HCPC registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical podiatry practice.
• Proven experience in managing a variety of podiatric conditions, including musculoskeletal, dermatological, and systemic diseases affecting the foot.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.
