Senior Power Electronics Engineer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced power electronic converters (e.g., AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC) for various applications.
• Perform detailed analysis and simulation of power electronic circuits using industry-standard software.
• Select and specify power semiconductor devices, passive components, and control ICs.
• Develop control algorithms and firmware for power converters, optimizing for efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and validation of power electronic prototypes and products.
• Collaborate with system engineers and other specialists to integrate power solutions into larger systems.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the design and development of power electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, converter topologies, and control strategies.
• Proficiency in simulation tools like PLECS, PSIM, or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with PCB layout for high-power applications and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting .
