About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and results-driven Senior PR Executive to join their esteemed communications team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical in managing day-to-day PR activities, supporting the PR Manager in developing and implementing impactful media strategies. You will be instrumental in generating positive media coverage, managing press events, and monitoring industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of media outreach, excellent writing skills, and a passion for building brand narratives within a dynamic and forward-thinking agency setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute PR campaigns and media outreach activities under the guidance of the PR Manager.
• Draft compelling press releases, pitches, and articles for various media platforms.
• Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on campaign performance and sentiment.
• Organize and coordinate press conferences, media briefings, and other PR events.
• Support the development of communication strategies and provide market insights.
• Manage client relationships and ensure timely delivery of high-quality PR services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are essential.
• Proven ability to secure media coverage in national and regional press.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
