About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and creative Senior PR Executive to join their established team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is crucial for developing and executing impactful public relations campaigns that elevate brand awareness and achieve strategic communication goals. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, craft compelling narratives, and manage their public image across various platforms. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the media landscape, ready to contribute to a dynamic agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute public relations strategies for a portfolio of clients, ensuring alignment with their brand objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and bloggers.
- Draft and distribute compelling press releases, articles, and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and provide analysis on campaign performance and market trends.
- Support event planning and execution, including press conferences and product launches.
- Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on campaign progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a PR or Communications role, agency or in-house.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to secure positive media coverage and manage client relationships.
- Strong understanding of media relations, social media, and digital PR tactics.
- Proficiency in using PR databases and media monitoring tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
