Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative public relations strategies and campaign plans tailored to client needs.
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR collateral for diverse media outlets.
- Secure positive media coverage across print, broadcast, and online channels, building strong relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze campaign performance, and provide insightful reports to clients, recommending strategic adjustments as needed.
- Oversee and mentor junior PR team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Requirements
- Proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in a Public Relations or communications role, ideally within an agency setting.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful PR campaigns and securing significant media placements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for persuasive storytelling and media pitching.
- Strong understanding of the UK media landscape and established relationships with key journalists and influencers in relevant sectors.
- Proficiency in PR measurement tools and analytics platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
