Senior Process Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative chemical processes, ensuring adherence to stringent safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct detailed process simulations and analyses to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Oversee pilot plant operations and scale-up activities, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth transitions to full production.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to translate laboratory findings into viable industrial processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including P&IDs, operational manuals, and safety protocols.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians involved in process development and operation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering within the chemical or related industries.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mass transfer principles.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and leading technical teams through complex process design and implementation phases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate under demanding technical constraints.
