Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of novel chemical processes from lab-scale experimentation through pilot plant trials to full commercial implementation.
• Design and execute experimental plans, analyze results, and generate comprehensive technical reports.
• Perform process modeling and simulation to optimize reaction conditions, separation techniques, and overall process design.
• Conduct thorough process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement necessary safety measures.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful technology transfer.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the process development team.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in process development, scale-up, and optimization within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of reaction engineering, separation technologies, and process safety principles.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing new processes from development to commercialization.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for this role in Reading .
