Key Responsibilities

• Lead the research and development of new chemical processes, from laboratory feasibility studies to pilot-scale validation.
• Design and execute experiments to optimise reaction conditions, yields, and product purity, documenting findings thoroughly.
• Develop process models and simulations to predict performance and identify potential scale-up challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D chemists, engineers, and manufacturing personnel, via digital platforms.
• Ensure all process development activities adhere to strict safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and scientists involved in process development projects.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in chemical process development, scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Proven expertise in reaction engineering, separation technologies, and process intensification.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting.
