Senior Process Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
• Conduct process validation studies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP).
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
• Scale up laboratory processes to pilot plant and commercial manufacturing scales.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless process transfer and implementation.
• Generate technical reports, documentation, and presentations related to process development activities.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve process efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process development, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and process design.
• Experience with process validation, scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
