Senior Process Engineer - Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and simulation of complex process systems, including PFDs and P&IDs, for oil and gas facilities .
• Conduct detailed process hazard analyses (PHAs) and implement safety recommendations.
• Optimize existing plant operations to improve yield, reduce energy consumption, and minimize environmental impact.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Develop and review technical specifications, equipment datasheets, and operating procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process engineering principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering , specifically within the oil and gas industry .
• Proven experience with process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and HAZOP studies .
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics , and mass transfer principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
