Senior Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to drive operational excellence within their facilities in Wolverhampton, West Midlands . This critical role involves the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. You will lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with various departments to implement sustainable improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of new manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, yield, and cost reduction.
• Develop and apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to solve complex problems.
• Oversee process validation and qualification activities to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure seamless product and process integration.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of process simulation, statistical analysis, and design of experiments (DOE).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage complex technical initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
