Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative manufacturing processes.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and execute strategies for Lean implementation, Six Sigma projects, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee process validation and qualification activities to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure seamless process integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt preferred), and statistical process control (SPC).
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex process improvement projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence teams in Plymouth .
