Senior Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks a proactive and analytical Senior Process Engineer to join their operations based in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes or modifications to existing ones to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Conduct trials and pilot studies to test process improvements, collecting and analyzing data to validate effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs, P&IDs, and flow charts.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to ensure seamless process integration and problem resolution.
• Investigate and resolve process-related issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Proven experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
