About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead critical process improvement initiatives in Bristol . This role is instrumental in driving operational excellence by designing, implementing, and optimizing complex manufacturing and production processes. You will apply advanced engineering principles, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a key position for a seasoned engineer looking to make a substantial impact on strategic operations within a forward-thinking company in the Bristol area.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing and production processes.
- Implement and manage Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze process data to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and equipment to enhance process capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in process improvement techniques.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of successful process improvements.
- Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
