About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their globally distributed team, focusing on optimizing chemical processes from a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes using advanced modeling and simulation software.
• Analyze process data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct virtual HAZOP studies and risk assessments for new and existing processes.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering and operations teams through digital platforms to implement process changes.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and process documentation for remote review and approval.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical engineering technology and best practices for remote implementation.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in process design, optimization, and scale-up within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) and data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience working in a remote-first environment , with excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong understanding of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and separation processes.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects independently and deliver results within deadlines.
