About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Process Engineer to enhance their manufacturing and operational processes in Southampton . This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to drive significant improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and implement advanced methodologies to optimize complex systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of process improvements across manufacturing operations.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, reduce variability, and improve throughput.
- Analyze complex operational data to identify root causes of problems and develop data-driven solutions.
- Develop and manage project plans for process improvement initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in process improvement techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to integrate new processes and technologies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical) or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in process engineering , with a focus on manufacturing optimization.
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Southampton .
