Senior Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their fully remote technical team, supporting crucial projects in the Oil & Gas industry . This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of process systems for upstream and downstream operations. You will apply your extensive engineering knowledge to complex challenges, ensuring the efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance of our client's facilities, all managed from your remote work location. Key Responsibilities

• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Perform process simulations and calculations to optimize system performance.
• Design and specify process equipment, including separators, heat exchangers, and pumps.
• Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) such as HAZOP studies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex process-related issues in operating facilities.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, engineers, and operators, remotely.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in process engineering, with significant exposure to the Oil & Gas sector .
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and design tools.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer.
• Experience with safety and environmental regulations applicable to the industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and virtual collaboration skills.
