Senior Process Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-driven Senior Process Industrial Engineer to join their team in Bristol . This role is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and productivity through meticulous analysis and strategic redesign of manufacturing and operational processes. You will be a key player in identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Analyze complex production data to identify root causes of operational issues and develop data-driven solutions.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for key processes.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to implement process changes effectively.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on process analysis and improvement techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process design and optimization.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen).
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab) and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
