Senior Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key categories of spend, aligning with business objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and favorable agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the tendering process (RFx) and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert procurement advice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar purchasing role.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIPS) are highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
