About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Production Chemist to join their operations in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is vital for overseeing and optimizing chemical production processes, ensuring product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for leading production teams, troubleshooting complex chemical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day chemical production operations , ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex chemical and operational issues that arise during production.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of production chemists and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
- Collaborate with R&D teams on process scale-up and new product introduction.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial chemical production or process development.
- Proven experience in managing production teams and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of analytical techniques and quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
