About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Production Engineer to join their operational team in Manchester . This role is critical for optimizing the performance of existing oil and gas wells and facilities, ensuring maximum output and operational integrity. You will be responsible for diagnosing production issues, implementing solutions, and managing production enhancement projects. This position requires a hands-on approach, working closely with field operations and technical support staff to maintain peak efficiency within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor well performance, identify production anomalies, and implement corrective actions.
• Design and oversee artificial lift systems, well stimulation, and workover operations.
• Analyze production data to optimize flow rates, pressures, and recovery factors.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers on production forecasting and field development planning.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in production activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in production engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in production optimization software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of surface facilities, artificial lift, and well integrity management.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for site-based operations.
