About the Role

Our client, a leading producer of consumer goods, is seeking a results-driven Senior Production Engineer to contribute to their manufacturing excellence initiatives in Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role will involve overseeing and optimizing production lines, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, and implementing advanced manufacturing techniques. You will work collaboratively with production supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to achieve production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of production processes and systems.
Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for enhancement.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs, minimize waste, and improve throughput.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to production staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization.
In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Experience with automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
