About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Production Engineer to join their asset development team in Leeds, West Yorkshire . This role is crucial for maximizing the output and efficiency of oil and gas production facilities. You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and implementing strategies to enhance hydrocarbon recovery. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize production rates and facility performance for oil and gas wells.
- Analyze production data, identify operational bottlenecks, and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues, including equipment failures and process upsets.
- Design and implement artificial lift systems and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all production operations.
- Collaborate with drilling, reservoir, and facilities engineers to ensure integrated field development and production plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in production engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in production data analysis, performance monitoring, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with artificial lift systems (e.g., ESP, gas lift) and surface facility operations.
- Strong understanding of wellbore flow dynamics and production system modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
