About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh . This role is central to optimizing the performance and efficiency of oil and gas production facilities. You will focus on maximizing hydrocarbon recovery, ensuring operational integrity, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance production output. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production operations, analyze performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize well performance through artificial lift systems, choke management, and flow assurance.
• Troubleshoot production issues, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with reservoir and facilities engineers to develop integrated production strategies.
• Manage the integrity and maintenance of production equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in production engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong understanding of production operations, artificial lift systems, and flow assurance.
• Proficiency in production optimization software and data analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model , balancing remote and on-site duties.
