About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead and oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives in Liverpool . This senior role requires a visionary leader adept at managing complex, multi-faceted programmes that align with the organisation's long-term goals. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of programme objectives, managing cross-functional teams, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships in a hybrid work model that promotes both collaboration and flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Define, plan, and execute multiple strategic programmes, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
• Manage programme scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, optimising for efficiency and impact.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional programme teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate programme-level risks and issues.
• Ensure effective governance, reporting, and communication across all programmes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in senior programme management roles, with a demonstrable track record of delivering large-scale initiatives.
• Expertise in programme management methodologies and best practices, including risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience working within a hybrid environment , effectively managing both on-site and remote team members .
• Relevant qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PgMP are highly regarded.
