About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Programme Manager to oversee a portfolio of strategic initiatives from their Belfast base, with the flexibility of full remote work across Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a strategic programme roadmap, aligning it with the company's long-term objectives.
• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects within the programme, ensuring interdependencies are managed effectively.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to a team of project managers and cross-functional project teams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
• Implement and champion robust programme governance, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Monitor programme performance, identify deviations from plan, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in programme and project management, with at least 5 years in a Senior Programme Manager role.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex, and cross-functional programmes.
• Expert knowledge of programme management methodologies (e.g., MSP, Agile at scale).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing at the highest levels.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
